With a view of extending help to needy people who doesn’t have the capacity to buy clothes can now take clothes free of cost from a place called ‘Wall of Kindness’. An initiative of two people who can imagine the problems of poor and needy started this wall in order to provide free clothes, footwear and anything which people wants to donate in an open manner. The wall is located on the dividing road of sector 8 and 17 in Panchkula.
The wall presently looks well fed of clothes hanging on it, which can be utilized by any needy person. Besides the clothes, it also has some pair of footwear lying besides the wall. I used to see people come and hang clothes on the wire attached to the wall, Aakash a pedestrian narrated. He said that it is a very kind initiative to help people who do not have even home to live. They can at least get free clothes and footwear, he further said.
Sharing the initiative with School News, Mahinder Pal Gupta and Virender Kumar Gupta who made this wall said, “We have started this project in order to provide free clothes to needy”. It is an open to everyone who wants to donate their clothes or other things, can come and hang them on wall of kindness, and this way poor gets the garments, they added.
