Chandigarh, July 11
A poster making competition was organised to mark World Population Day at Maharishi Dayanand Public School in Daria, Chandigarh. The competition was organized in collaboration with department of Environment, Chandigarh Administration. This competition was held under junior and senior categories. Kumkum, Abhay and Deepali bagged first, second and third prize respectively in junior category whereas Tushar, Ajit and Archna secured first, second and third prize respectively under senior category. Principal of the school Dr. Vinod Kumar highlighted the aim of this competition as to raise awareness of global population issue.
