Comparison with her sister (Shilpa Shetty) in the entertainment has never bogged her down. For Shamita Shetty, her best moments in the film industry have just begun. With her upcoming international project ‘The Tenant’, she is keeping busy and is looking forward to the start of a new web series early next year.

Shamita looks ravishingly beautiful on the December edition cover of The Lifestyle Journalist Magazine. The cover story reveals interesting insights of her personally and professional life.  

“I have been in the industry for 19 years now. I have learned a lot, and there have been a lot of ups and downs but that has only made me a stronger and a more spiritual person. As you grow older, I think you understand life better, which is only natural, because you have more experiences. But I do know I have a long way to go and achieve so much in life. But I look back at my life with utmost gratitude because I know my life has turned out the way it meant to be,” she says.

When asked about her first award in the industry for her role in movie Mohabatein, she confesses that she does not pay much importance to awards! “I cherish the precious lessons that life has taught me and I don’t fret about small things,” she adds.

Romance has always been the backbone of Bollywood movies and this time the music king Himesh Reshammiya is coming with the biggest romantic film of the year ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’. This film will feature Punjabi beauty and talented actress 

Sonia Mann in the lead role. Recently, the makers of the film released another romantic track from the film titled ‘Heer Tu Meri’. 

Himesh Reshammiya and Anusha Mani have given their vocals to the song. The lyrics of the song are penned by Himesh Reshammiya himself. And the cherry on the cake is the soulful music of Himesh Reshammiya. 

The video of the song is shot at the beautiful locations of Scotland and chemistry between both the leads is a treat to watch. 

With this film, Sonia Mann will mark her debut in Bollywood. Prior to this, she has already featured in biggest Punjabi videos of singers like Sidhu Moosewala, Jordan Sandhu and Raftaar. She has also done a special appearance with Bollywood Greek God Hrithik Roshan’s Marathi film, Hrudayantar. 

Apart from Himesh Reshammiya and Sonia Mann, Naresh Suri, Manmeet Singh, Deep Mandeep, Ashwin Dhar, Sejal Shah, and Tripti Khamkar will play pivotal roles. ‘Happy Hardy and Heer' is directed by Raka. The whole project is produced by Deepshikha Deshmukh and Sabita Manakchand. The dialogues of the film are written by Bunty Rathore and Sonia Kapoor Reshammiya has written the screenplay. 

The trailer of the film will be released soon and the film will hit the theatres in September.

The most anticipated film of the year, Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh is finally in cinemas now. And it would not be wrong to say that it is by far the best rom-com of Pollywood. Punjabi movies have always been multi-starrers. Breaking this norm, Leostride Entertainment released its first Punjabi film which only stars two leads Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta.
And this is also the first time that in a Punjabi film, a story of one day is showcased. The whole film with leads wearing the same outfits throughout is winning special attention. The film has everything on point story, acting, humor, and music.

However, the highlight of the film is the chemistry of Gippy and Sargun. The chemistry between these two actors is what is appreciated the most by the audience. With the release of the film’s trailer, the audience had got really excited for watching the film and luckily, the film doesn’t disappoint even a bit. Their easy camaraderie in the film as well as impeccable comic timing makes the audience laugh and get connected.
Not just in the film, but even at the promotions of the film, the two were seen having a gala time together. Colour coordinated outfits, engaging with the audience, is what they have been doing right now at their promotions.

Punjabi music industry is blessed with singers that are admired beyond age groups and linguistic differences. Such talents are given their due recognition by the music fraternity every year during various award shows. One such beautiful singer who was recently awarded for her art is Shipra Goyal. The lady won the Best Duet Vocalist 2018 trophy at PTC Punjabi Music Awards held at Mohali recently.

Shipra Goyal won the award for Naraan that released under the VS Records label. Her duet with Punjabi vocalist Sajjan Adeeb has been streamed more than 17 million times on YouTube. The lyrics of Naraan have been penned down by Aman Bilaspuri while Music Empire has given the catchy and foot-tapping beats to the song. It has won hearts right from its release in June this year.

Talking about her achievement, the pretty singer, Shipra Goyal said, “Naraan will always be special. It was an expression of dreams and aspirations of a normal girl who wants to be loved and respected. Now, it has become even more special. I thank music director Music Empire and Aman Bilaspuri for bringing me on board. I have learnt some of the finest details of singing from them while doing this song. Talking about her life, journey in the film industry and future projects with The Lifestyle Journalist Magazine, she said she is a simple girl who loves nature, snow and everything adventurous. She like exploring new places and traveling.
About her journey Kainaat said, ‘My journey started in my college days. I was doing merchandising in Delhi. I was crossing the road and a photographer spotted me and gave me my first break of Satya Paul. After that I came to Bombay and there was no looking back’.
‘If somebody wants to achieve something big in life or if somebody has a dream they can't be satisfied. Personally, I am a very greedy person when it comes to work. I want to do everything. I think if I will become content, I wouldn't enjoy my work. My life will become boring’.

Talking about her future projects, ‘I am quiet excited to be on the cover page of region's leading magazine! I just finished shooting for a web series ‘Birthday Gift’. It's a psychotic thriller and i am really looking forward to its release. Apart from that, i am doing a punjabi film ‘kitty party’ directed by Nav bajwa. My co star is also Nav Bajwa in the film along with Upasna Singh, Anita Devgan, Gurpreet Ghuggi. It's a hardcore comedy. We are shooting in Thailand. One schedule is over. Second schedule is starting in november. It is releasing in 2019. Other than that i am doing a musical film ‘Band of Maharaja’. I am also doing Guntur part 2. Its a Telugu film and sequel of Guntur. It's a hit Telugu film’, she added during the interview.
‘Neither do I take stress when it comes to failure nor do I get happy with success. Nothing is permanent. Everything just passes.

'Aate Di Chidi’ : A story of the emotions which every Punjabi feels

Under the banner of Teg Productions, the most awaited movie of the year ‘Aate Di Chidi’ is about to release.
Present on the occasion in Chandigarh, the makers of the film along with whole star cast, including the leads Neeru Bajwa and Amrit Maan with the director of the film. The producers Charanjit Singh Walia and Tegbir Singh Walia also addressed the media and shared their views about ‘Aate Di Chidi’. They have also released second song of ‘Aate Di Chidi’ named ‘Love You Ni Mutiayre’.

Prior to this, song ‘Blood Wich Tu’ has already been released. The movie has been in news right from its announcement because of the fresh pairing of Neeru Bajwa opposite Amrit Maan. Alongside these two talented artists, the film also has stellar actors like veteran Punjabi actor Sardar Sohi, Gurpreet Ghuggi, BN Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, Nirmal Rishi, Harby Sangha, Nisha Bano, Preeto Sawhney, Balvir Boparai, Dilawar Sidhu, Prakash Gadhu, and Anmol Verma. Aate Di Chidi is a story about Punjab’s issues which will be gently showcased in a humorous way. It promises to be a giggle-fest for the audiences. The movie is helmed by Harry Bhatti and Raju Verma has written the story. The movie has been shot in Punjab and Canada. The entire project is produced by Teg Productions’ Charanjit Singh Walia and Tegbir Singh Walia. GRS Chhina (Calgary, Canada) has co-produced this film.

At this moment, leading lady of the film, Neeru Bajwa said, “Aate Di Chidi is a film close to my heart because like its story and backdrop I am also born and brought up in Canada. Since the childhood, I was also unaware of so many things integral to our culture which I got to know during the shoot. This movie has definitely made me value our culture more. I have enjoyed each and every step of its making. I hope people will also enjoy while watching ‘Aate Di Chidi’.”
Actor and Singer Amrit Maan said, “I have performed in many songs and have done a movie too, but taking the whole burden on your shoulders is very different. I am happy, and at the same time very nervous. But I think I am blessed that I got a chance to start my journey with this kind of project. I have done my best and hope that audiences will accept my work. I hope I have justified the role and people’s expectations. Bollywood Actor Paresh Rawal to enact play "Kishan vs Kanhaiya" at Tagore Theatre

All India Technical and Management Council and Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh is going to organize a play "Kishan vs Kanhaiya" at Tagore Theater, Sector 18, Chandigarh on Friday (6th July 2018). MP (Lok Sabha) and legendary Bollywood actor, Paresh Rawal and his team will perform the play.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group and Deep Sisai, Chairman, All India Technical and Management Council while giving information said that Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor, Haryana and Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister, Haryana will grace the event. Kataria further informed that free entry passes can be collected form Aryans campus.
The play is based on Gujrati businessman Kishan Lal Mehta who is a nastik person. In an earthquake his antique shop gets destroyed. Though he had insured his shop but he could not claim the insurance money because his shop was destroyed not because of human cause of destruction but by a natural disaster which was attributed to an act of God. Hence Kishan Lal Mehta had logged a case against God in the law of court.

The perfect theatrical adaptation of Mahesh Bhatt's classic hindi movie- "Daddy" by Mahesh Bhatt released in 1989 was staged at Elante Mall in Chandigarh.

The play was all set for a magical comeback in a theatrical production. The perfect Father-Daughter duo Mahesh Bhatt - Pooja Bhatt presented this amazing play for the people of Chandigarh.
The play is based on the story of a girl, Pooja, who has no recollection of her mother and father and is told that her father had passed away. Later, she meets her father and makes him overcome alcoholism.

Star cast Kulwinder Billa, Rajvir Jawanda, Aditi Sharma, Jaggi Singh, Charan Singh and Navdeep Kaler enthralled students with their hit numbers.
Chairman Dr Anshu Kataria welcomed the star cast in the surroundings full of Punjabi touch with music of 'Dhol'. Later during the event, Dr Kataria honoured all the members of star cast.

To giggle the audience out by showcasing Punjab’s issues in a humorous way, 'Aate Di Chidi’ will star the Pollywood’s queen Neeru Bajwa, who will be playing female lead in the movie and ace singer Amrit Maan will be seen as male protagonist for the first time. The genre of ‘Aate Di Chidi’ is comedy.
The stellar star cast of the movie includes Gurpreet Ghuggi, BN Sharma, Anmol Verma, Karamjit Anmol, Harby Sangha and veteran actor Sardar Sohi.  The movie will be directed by Harry Bhatti under the banner of Teg Productions. The movie will be shot in Punjab and Canada.

“I have recently worked with Amrit Maan, which was a short but sweet experience. Now we are about to start Aate Di Chidi and are definitely excited. I had liked the idea right from the time the story was narrated to me. Working with Maan and the director, Harry Bhatti will for sure be an enriching experience.”, as told by Neeru Bajwa who was in Chandigarh to launch the first look of 'Aate Di Chidi'. Amrit Maan said, “I had started my acting journey with a grey shade character and then tried to entertain with a comic and carefree role. Aate Di Chidi is a new and fresh concept. Firstly, I am about to play the leading man and then, the story of the movie itself has got me hooked. I feel more responsible; in fact, I was star struck working with Neeru Bajwa in Laung Laachi. But now I am looking forward to the beginning of the shoot.”
