The 10th R.F Saupin Memorial Football Trophy started with a match between Sacred Heart and Carmel Convent followed by Chitkara vs St Xaviers. Both the matches ended in a draw with no goals being scored by either side. The third match saw some action with Vivek High Chandigarh outshining St Joseph’s 44 with a score of 3-1. Goal scores for Vivek were Manasvi and Amodhni, while Khushi was the sole scorer for St Joseph’s.
Saupin’s Mohali and Chitkara locked horns in the 4thmatch, which ended in a win for Saupin’s. Gurnoor Kaur once again proved herself by scoring the winning goal.
The fifth match between Kids r Kids and Carmel Convent was closely fought, but ended in a draw with no goals being scored.
