Farewell function held at The British School Panchkula

The students and staff of The British School, Panchkula bid adieu to the students of Class X of Session 2017-18.  Class X students reminisced their fun-filled days in school and expressed how difficult it was for them to go out of the portals of their Alma Mater.

Aastha Johar of Class IX gave a welcoming speech for the Class X students. It was a moment of reliving the good memories they had of the school and their companions and teachers. A power point presentation took the students of Class X down the memory lane.  Students of Class VIII and IX had organized a program where they danced, sang and enjoyed themselves. Motivating titles were given to the students. A cake cutting ceremony was done by Class X students. The children played games and enjoyed the time bound challenge.
Aniketa Chauhan of Class IX sang a beautiful song “Time of our life”. Class 10 students spoke their hearts out as a sign of gratitude to the teachers and the school.
Speaking on the occasion, School Principal, Anita Mehra said, “These children are waiting with indignation and anxiety, to leave the portals of this institution and step into a new world. All of us at TBS wish them all the very best for their future.” Mehra handed over the gifts to the departing students.

School Director, Geetika Sethi also wished the students good luck and said, “We have nurtured these children with love and care and tried to build a strong foundation for their next level. We have guided them to attain this impressive milestone in their life with great honour and integrity.”
