A tree plantation drive was carried out at Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology in sector 26 of Chandigarh on Thursday. Under the guidance of Dr Manoj Sharma, the diploma wing conducted the drive to celebrate Van Mahotsav. Around 150 saplings were planted in the campus during the drive. In order to make campus greener, each student adopted one plant to take care of. College Principal Sanjana Arora along with HOD’s and faculty members was also participated in the drive actively. The Principal addresses the students regarding importance of trees in mitigating the curse of environmental pollution.
