The Holy Wonder Smart School celebrated Krishnashtami with gaiety. Students dressed up in the costume of Lord Sri Krishna, Kansa and Gopikas performed the roles of characters related to Gokulashtami. They won the heart of the audience by enacting various roles of Sri Krishna from childhood as Nathkhat Bansi, Makhan Chor and speaking chaste Hindi dialogues.
Dressed in the attire of Krishna and gopikas, they spread the message of ancient Puranas and information of traditions and culture was imparted to the students. The event also brought awareness among the children about traditional customs while enjoying the pranks of Lord Krishna. Fun and frolic marked the presentation. Students captivated the audience with their scintillating performances. The matki-fod competition, best Krishna dress competition and several other programs depicting the characteristics of Bal Gopal (Young Krishna) were main attraction at the occasion.
The brief introduction on the early life and birth of Krishna was also imparted by Director of the School Ashween Arora and enlightened the minds of the young children .According to her the deeper message of Janmashtami is that we should make efforts towards imbibing the aspects of Shri Krishna to wade easily through life.
