An orientation week for freshers was conducted at Dev Samaj College of Education in sector-36 of Chandigarh. The new session 2017-19 started with great zeal in the gracious presence of Nirmal Singh Dhillon, honorable secretary Dev Samaj and Principal Dr. Agnese Dhillon. It was the time when our would be teachers witnessed their first moment at Dev Samaj College of Education as the revered Shri Nirmal Singh Dhillon, blessed them to start a new chapter in their lives. Orientation was started with the prayer and was briefly followed by introduction about college, faculty members and campus visiting. The Principal exhorted the students to become role models and encouraged them to inculcate in them the value of proficiency, fluency and clarity. She also requested the students to be sincere during their term.
The NSS Department sensitized the minds of students towards NSS activities and for the ongoing 15 days "Swachtta Pakhwarka" celebrations. NSS volunteers took the Swachtta Oath which was followed by an activity that was feeling of expression towards Swachtta and dialogue exchange. The college conveyed its best wishes to all the new students for their future endeavors.
