Dressed up in Indian traditional wear of bright hues in the lush green campus of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women in sector -26 of Chandigarh, students celebrated the festival of Teej. Dancing on the tunes of Punjabi numbers, students also took part in Miss Teej, Mehandi and Parandi tying competitions. Food stalls offering delicious kheer poora, chaat and tikki was also set up for the students.
The officiating Principal Ms. Harpreet Kaur was warmly welcomed by the students. She appreciated the talent of the students as well as highlighted the significance of such events in all-round development of the youth.
