Panjab University Researcher received Emerging Scholar Award in London

Niyati Gulia, Junior Research Fellow from Department cum Centre for Women's Studies and Development, Panjab University, Chandigarh was awarded with EMERGING SCHOLAR AWARD at the Eighth International Conference on Health, Wellness and Society at Imperial College, LONDON, United Kingdom in the last week of  September 2018. Niyati is pursuing PhD under the remarkable guidance of Dr. Ameer Sultana who has been a constant support in realising her full potential. Niyati has been actively involved in rendering services to the community, as an activist.
She is an excellent NSS volunteer at Panjab University campus. She is a trained trainer on MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT too. She  has also been earlier awarded in the  Social Welfare activities by the Municipal Cooperation, Chandigarh for her work on social issues, especially for animal welfare on August 15th  this year.
Before  pursuing her Ph.D, she has completed her Master's degree in Social Work from Panjab University Chandigarh only.
