Touch Lives to Change the Future: Barry Rassin addressed students during Peace Rally

The world president of Rotary International, Barry Rassin addressed over 2,500 school children at the Elante courtyard here today morning.
Rotary Club of Chandigarh had organized the Peace Rally to inculcate the concern of conflicts that threaten human life around the world. Speaking on the occasion Barry Rassin said that it is for every child to get into the habit of making a positive choice, develop good habits, help each other, and make a difference.

Quoting an African saying Barry Rassin said that if you touch a rock it impacts the past, if you touch a flower you beautify the present, and if you touch the life of another human being you change the future. He and his wife Esther read out the peace pledge with the children.
Past Rotary International President Rajendra K Saboo, Rotary District Governor Praveen Chander Goyal and various other Rotarians attended the meet which was conducted by DPS Principal Reema Dewan and Rtn Sartaj Lamba. Students of various schools having Interact Clubs, including Ajit Karam Singh International Public School, Bhavan Vidyalaya, DPS, Hamari Kaksha, participated.
He later visited the Rotary Blood Bank Society Resource Centre in Sector 37, a Rs.4 crore facility created by the Rotary Club of Chandigarh.
