Full dress rehearsal of 71st Republic Day celebrations was held at Parade Ground sector 17 Chandigarh wherein Chandigarh Police Contingent, school students, NSS volunteers and band from various city schools performed. The eye catching part was the students from Blind Institute sector 26 Chandigarh who also took part among the band performers. It was followed by cultural performances by students of various UT schools who showcased Yoga postures to highlight the importance of being Health and Fit through Asans. Later, the cultures of different states were exhibited by students through dance forms. The colours of Patriotism was clearly visible through these performances. The popular admired form of dance i.e Bhangra was highly appreciable amongst all.
