Colours of Patriotism marked Republic Day celebrations at St. Teresa Convent School Panchkula

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at St. Teresa Convent School on 26th January 2020. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to upholding the honor and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “India”.

The choir group presented two patriotic song “ Desh hame deta h sb kuch” and “Mera desh mera mulk mera ye watan” . The whole school was reverberated in the surroundings by the song. It was followed by a dance performance, speech, poem and slogans. The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding. Active participation was seen from the students, which gave a glimpse of their patriotic fervor towards the country.  Later, Amit Chopra, Director Sir addressed the students and urged them to do their best and feel proud to be Indians. The yoga postures were also demonstrated by the students.

 In addition, the classes were emphasized about the breathing awareness and the adoption of basic values of social interaction, nonviolence, truthfulness, respect with themselves and the others, and cooperation.  The celebration came to an end with the national anthem.
