SBI's SME Branch was inaugurated in the newly renovated premises at Sector 8 C Chandigarh by
Manoj Parida , Advisor to Administrator, UT Chandigarh, in the presence of Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh, CGM Chandigarh Circle, and Surendra Rana , GM network II, Chandigarh. The inauguration function was attended by valued customers of the Bank in the presence of Lalit Mohan, DGM (Panchkula), and Ranbir Singh Thakur, AGM (SME Branch).
On this occasion the Chief guest was briefed about Bank's endeavor in MSME segment along with the regular contribution of SBI in other Govt sponsored schemes. The customers were further informed about the functioning of SBI through specialized branches like this SME Branch.
The branch has been serving its MSME customers since July, 2007 covering regions of Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. The branch has been instrumental in providing financial services to MSME industries in Indian economy ranging from manufacturing( textiles, pharmaceuticals, chemicals etc.), trading( car dealers, jewelers etc.) and service sector (hotels, real estate etc.).The branch is empowered with dedicated Relationship Managers catering to the different needs of the customers. The branch has a positive reputation in the market where it comes to
international banking and SME services.
