'The Colour Parade' staged at The British School Panchkula

Around 200 Kindergarteners of The British School staged a show ‘The Colour Parade’ at The British School, Sec-12, Panchkula on Saturday. The function was presided over by Honourable Chairperson Urmila Sethi.
The function began by seeking the blessings of God. The prayer was performed by the junior most group, ‘Nursery’. 




The tiny tots performed action songs and recited rhymes with great enthusiasm and perfection.
The students of LKG made a Colour Stew by performing the mystical magic ‘Bippity Boppity Boo ...’ The students left the audience awestruck by sharing their knowledge on the significance of the seven colours of the rainbow. The tiny tots displayed the magic of number Seven in ‘Charm of Seven’.
The UKG students shared beautiful idioms on colours and brightened the show with rainbow songs and rhymes. Through the action song ‘Hokey Pokey Fruit Song’ the children displayed the importance of eating fruits and veggies.
The programme came to an end with a message on doing away with plastic as the nature is giving warning signs which was highly appreciated by the Director, Geetika Sethi. The Principal of the school, Anita Mehra said, “Such platforms help students not only showcase their talent but also develop stage confidence.
