St. Teresa Convent School celebrated clean and green Diwali with festive gusto. Diwali was celebrated at the school with devotion and religious zeal. The day started with a special morning assembly wherein students delivered speeches on the significance of the festival and the relevance of eco-friendly celebrations. Various other activities such as ‘inter-house Rangoli-making’, candle and ‘diya’ decoration, paper decoration, paper lanterns, flower arrangement, and card-making contests were organised in all the classes. Students were briefed on ill-effects of burning crackers and were urged to celebrate the festival with candles, sweets and non-polluting green crackers.
