72th Independence day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at Gian Jyoti group of Intuitions Mohali. Chairman, J S Bedi unfurled the National Flag and took the salute. Members of management and faculty sang patriotic songs at this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Bedi said that Let us remember the sacrifices made by our forefathers for getting freedom of our country. The real freedom can be achieved if poverty is removed and youth are given employment. The upcoming generation should imbibe the qualities of nationalism, discipline, punctuality, dedication and positive thinking. We should celebrate our Independence Day with zeal and gusto”. He further emphasized that all the teachers should motivate the students to attain higher goals of their lives.
GJIMT Director Dr. Aneet Bedi said that Let us on this occasion remember with gratitude, great souls who pioneered the Independence Movement and the selfless services now being rendered by the personnel of the three wings of the Armed forces and also those of the paramilitary forces, who guard our frontiers on the land, at sea and in the air.He appreciated the efforts of the staff and students. Later on sweets were distributed.
