A summer vegetable activity was conducted at The British School, Panchkula to sensitize the children about the summer season and the vegetables that grow in this season. The children were made aware of the names of the summer vegetables and how they benefit us.
Prakriti Singh and Manha Khan of UKG Class promised to eat summer vegetables while Jaipreet Gill shared a recipe of summer vegetable salad with his friends. The school director Sanjay Sethi said that because children listen more to their teachers, such efforts in the classroom will help in making the students eat healthy seasonal produce.
