Attired in punjabi outfits, children presented Bhangra and Giddha to celebrate Baisakhi, the harvest festival of Punjab with fervour and enthusiasm at the premises of Apna Shabdh School, Zirakpur. Students also showed religious, historical and economical value of Baisakhi.
They were explained about the importance of the festival by showcasing Punjabi culture. The motive behind the celebration was to apprise students of their rich culture and heritage. The school premises were aptly decorated.
