Culinary Innovation competition held at The British School Panchkula

A Culinary Innovation competition was held at The British School Panchkula in for the students of Class VI to X. This competition included only those recipes which were prepared without fire. The enthusiastic participants surprised everyone with their culinary talents by preparing healthy dishes which included salads, snacks, sandwiches, chats, shakes, flavoured yogurts, etc. Children were very particular about the nutrient quotient of their food. They worked together forming teams and created mouth watering delicacies.
School Principal, Anita Mehra congratulated everyone on their exemplary performance and said, “The aim of this competition was to provide a platform to students to showcase their talent and create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without fire.”
School Director, Geetika Sethi said, “It is a hands on learning experience for these children so that they become independent in the times to come. These children developed a sense of pride and accomplishment when their efforts were praised. We are happy to see more boys taking interest in cooking these days. We can see some budding chefs in here. ”
