The perfect theatrical adaptation of Mahesh Bhatt's classic hindi movie- "Daddy" by Mahesh Bhatt released in 1989 was staged at Elante Mall in Chandigarh.
After the grand success of - The Last Salute, ARTH, and Trial of Errors. Mahesh Bhatt the iconic director, producer and screenwriter presented his 4th theatre venture DADDY. The play was all set for a magical comeback in a theatrical production. The perfect Father-Daughter duo Mahesh Bhatt - Pooja Bhatt presented this amazing play for the people of Chandigarh.
The play is based on the story of a girl, Pooja, who has no recollection of her mother and father and is told that her father had passed away. Later, she meets her father and makes him overcome alcoholism.
Buoyed by the stupendous success of Arth's theatrical adaptation, which was presented in a jam-packed auditorium in New Delhi on Women's Day, Mahesh Bhatt has zeroed in on his next play — Daddy, which was a film that revolved around the turbulent relationship between an alcoholic father and his teenaged daughter.
Mahesh Bhatt and his actor-daughter Pooja Bhatt also visited the GBP Group Athens Project in Zirakpur.
