The British School, Panchkula pulsated and echoed with the sounds of music, laughter and applause as around 300 kindergartners participated in the Achievement Day Function held in the school premises. The little angels of the school had put up a splendid show of rhymes, songs, dances and plays. The program began with the offerings to the almighty by the tiny tots of UKG through their prayers. A lovely rendition of ‘I have a Dream” by the students of UKG left everyone speechless.

These were followed by showcase of the year- long achievements through rhyme recitation about alphabet, numbers and healthy habits by the little ones of Nursery class. The kids also spoke small lines about their readiness for the next class. The LKG class presented a musical enactment of ‘The Hare and the Tortoise” with the moral-slow and steady wins the race, thereby emphasizing on continuous academic efforts through the year. A wonderful collection of rhymes was sung on the stage by all the classes followed by a small story enactment based on the colours of the Rainbow by LKG students. The students of UKG described how the gardener plants a seed and nature nurtures it through the cycle of seasons till the sapling grows and flowers and bears fruit. The allegory to the teacher student relationship was poignantly evoked through a series of action rhymes.
