Lohri was celebrated at St. Xavier`s Senior Secondary School in sector 45 of Chandigarh with a great zeal. Students and teachers were fully absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. A special assembly was conducted where in students from junior and senior wing participated. Through a brief speech students were told old about the significance of lohri. The students stole the show by singing the lohri song ‘Sunder Munderiye’.
Principal Mervin West wished all the students and teachers. Festival of Lohri prompts us to be thankful for God’s provisions, as teachers we should play a constructive role to keep the tradition and culture alive in our festivities," said the Principal while addressing the students and teachers.
