A "Walk-a-thon" is a new initiative which has the objective to create awareness. Road rage is a major problem on roads everyday causing anger, stress, anxiety and accidents. Six students from each house participated for this noble cause. Sixteen students were in the cheering squad to cheer the students of all four houses - Indian House, Arctic House, Atlantic House and Pacific House. Students were holding banners which had important captions such as "Speed thrills but kills", "You drink, you drive, you might not survive", "Love safety Marry rules, Divorce speed" & "Alert today Alive tomorrow". The main aim of this Walk-a-thon was as road users we all need to learn to deal with these problems and prevent unnecessary violence towards others on the road and even those walking on the pavement. Principal George S. Shear interacted with the students and encouraged them to come forward for such events. S.
