An Empowered Girl adds value to the Family; International Day of Girl Child celebrated at Saupin's School Chandigarh

Students of Class VII commemorated the International Day of the Girl Child through a cultural class show. A poem “Beti ke Sawaal”, a song “Jinki hai Betiyaan”, a dance “Bekhauf” and a skit were presented to highlight the importance of educating and nurturing the girl child. Light was also thrown on the benefits provided by the Central and State governments exclusively for girls. Parents appreciated the message that an empowered girl would add value to the family, the society and the nation.
