Personal hygiene is extremely essential to understand at a young age. Small children need to be made to understand the importance of washing their hands regularly to help stop the spread of germs.
A Session on the proper technique of Washing our hands was organized at Banyan Tree School Chandigarh for the students of Pre Primary.
They were told about the importance of washing our hands regularly. The proper steps to wash our hands was also taught through rhymes. They saw videos and posters to get a better understanding of the concept.
This was followed by the children reflecting their understanding on Worksheets and also doing the activity practically. They were told not to underestimate the power of hand washing, as the time spent at the sink could save trips to the doctor's office!
