The British School Panchkula celebrates Janamashtami

Strengthening the bond between the parents and school, Janamashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at The British School, Panchkula. Keeping with the spirit of the festival, the students came dressed in colourful attires of Krishna, Radha, Balram, Gopi, Nand, Yashoda. Yahvi, Aarohi  Charmi looked adorable in their attires while Daksh, Kanav Sood and Rehaan Jain flaunted their dresses and flutes. The students showcased their creativity by making Mukuts, Matkis and Mor Pankh.

Parents and teachers made Prasad and sang bhajans. The School Director, Mr. Sanjay Sethi said, “It is important to organize such traditional festivals to stay linked to our rich culture, traditions and heritage and to keep the young generation connected to their roots.”
