Teej refers to the monsoon festival. This festival celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of clouds and rain, greenery and birds, rituals and customs. The festival  includes  dancing, singing, getting together with friends and telling stories, dressing up with henna coloured hands and feet, wearing red, yellow or green clothes, sharing festive food, and playing under trees on swings on Hariyali Teej.
We at the St.Teresa Convent School celebrated Teej with great zeal. Children were all dressed in their ethnic attire and enjoyed on the decorated swings. It was a day of fun and frolic for all the students.
