Lockdown extended in Punjab for another 2 weeks as the patients are rising day by day. One such preventive measure of this virus is social distancing. Listen to Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh what he said in the video :


Details:-
Limited Movement allowed for all from 7 am to 11 am

Complete COVID prevention measures such as social distancing, washing hands regularly, use of masks should be strictly complied with

All registered shops except those in multi-brand and single-brand malls are allowed to open with 50% strength of workers from 7 am to 11 am

Shops in market complexes and shopping malls are not allowed to open.

Establishments dealing in services like saloons, barber shops etc. would continue to remain closed.

E-Commerce companies will continue to be permitted for essential goods only

Industries permitted to operate subject to certain conditions

ਮਲਟੀ-ਬ੍ਰਾਂਡ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੰਗਲ-ਬ੍ਰਾਂਡ ਮਾੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਰਜਿਸਟਰਡ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ 50% ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸਵੇਰੇ 7 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ 11 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਮਾਰਕੀਟ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾੱਪਿੰਗ ਮਾੱਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

ਸੈਲੂਨ, ਨਾਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ।

The entire city has been divided into SIX Zones. In each zone Electricians, Plumbers and AC Mechanics have been authorized to attend to the complaints by the residents.  The details of the personnel can be downloaded from the website of Chandigarh Administration by clicking on the following links :-

All the above technicians will use proper face mask, hand sanitizer and gloves while attending the complaints. Social Distancing shall be followed by all while attending the complaints.

Bhavan Old Students Support Chandigarh police personnel

Bhavan Old Students Society(BOSS), the alumni arm of Bhavan Vidyalaya Chandigarh brought water bottles to the police working around the tricity in an attempt to show their solidarity with the Corona crusaders. 

Mr. Vinay Aggarwal, President BOSS, along with Teacher Coordinator, Radha Bahuguna met senior IPS officer, Neha Yadav and SHO Aman at the Sector 39 Police Station, handing over water bottles, which would then be distributed amongst police personnel around the city. This initiative was envisioned by Vineeta Arora, Senior Principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27, who motivated BOSS members be responsible citizens and do their bit in supporting the police personnel, who have been on duty, round the clock, in the wake of the lockdown, following the COVID 19 pandemic. 

Gagan Chowdhary, a senior member of the Alumni association, informed that this initiative was designed keeping in view the needs of the police force, who have been deployed extensively around the city in various tasks. 'With summer setting in and temperatures rising, water becomes an essential commodity,' said Gagan.

The handing over of water bottles was carried out this morning, after ensuring all safety precautions at the Sector 39 Police Station, Chandigarh. These were handed over by Mr. Vinay Aggarwal, President BOSS alongwith Radha Bahuguna to senior IPS Officer, ASP Neha Yadav and SHO Amanjot Singh at Sector 39 Chandigarh Police Station.

Youth comes on front to serve poor and needy at sector 56 Chandigarh

कम्युनिटी सेंटर सैक्टर 56 चंडीगढ़  में जरूरतमंदों की भूख मिटाने के लिए युवा वर्ग के समाजसेवी बना रहे है भंडारा । ये भंडारा सैक्टर 56 के अलावा नजदीकी कॉलोनियों, रोड साइड में मिल रहे गरीबों तक पहुंचाया जा रहा है निशुल्क, ओर मानव सेवा के लिए ये युवा वर्ग अपने-अपने सामर्थ के अनुसार भोजन और राशन सामग्री जरूरतमंदों में वितरित भी कर रहे हैं। किसी भी गली व बस्ती में कोई भूखे पेट न रहे, इसके लिए युवा वर्ग अपने-अपने इलाकों में घूमकर उन तक खाद्य सामग्री पहुंचा रहे हैं।

मानव सेवा के लिए युवा वर्ग से राजेश पासवान ने ये पहल शुरू की, राजेश पासवान ने बताया कि हम दिन रात गरीबों के लिए अपना योगदान दे रहे, जब तक कारोना वायरस जैसी महामारी खत्म नहीं हो जाती तब तक हम अपने सैक्टर व साथ लगती कॉलोनियों में अपनी सेवा करते रहेंगे, कोई भूखा ना सोए इसलिए गली गली जाकर हर व्यक्ति की भी जानकारी के रहे है उन तक खाना पहुंचाया जा सकें। इसके मौके चेतन, तेजी, अनंत, विशाल, संदीप व अन्य युवा भी सेवा में साथ दे रहे है।


Ashmah students spreads awareness on COVID-19 ; School choose digital platform to teach

Ashmah International School, sector 70 spread awareness about Covid- 19 digitally to its students while staying at home. The students made beautiful poster for fighting against Covid 19 for creating awareness sitting safe at home. The teachers informed students online to share  how to be safe from Coronavirus. The students were explained in their videos that we have to follow precautions as per the advisories being issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The initiative of making posters was enthusiastically taken by the students and they made marvellous posters sitting safe at home and utilize their time. Principal of the School Shuchi Grover said at the moment that as the world is fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, and the lockdown period has become a testing time for all the parents, students and their teachers, so we took the initiative of going digital to impart education to its students so that they can remain connected to education and learn new things while staying at home.

RESULT OF CLASSES IX AND XI TO BE DECLARED ON 20th APRIL

The entire country is under complete lockdown because of COVID 19. In the wake of the same, the usual PTMs scheduled for 31 st March 2020 could not be conducted. The Education Department, Chandigarh Administration declared the result of students from Classes I to VIII as per the RTE rules on 31st March and all the students were promoted to the next respective classes. However, the result of Classes IX and XI were withheld.
Now since the lockdown has been further extended to 3rd May 2020 and the Summer Vacation has been preponed and scheduled from 15th April to 14th May, the Education Department has decided to declare the result of Classes IX and XI.
The result criteria shall be circulated to all the Govt Schools in a couple of days. Subsequently the result would be declared on 20 th April. 

The result would be displayed on the website of the respective schools. It would also be conveyed to students through text messages and Whatsapp messages. The parents or students need not come to school for the same. They can call on the helpline numbers already circulated.
Subsequently, the students can start their study schedule from the online teaching, an initiative of the Education Department already functional.

Greenland the only territory with no active COVID-19 case

Lockdown extended till 3rd May 2020; Prime Minister shares 7 pointers to fight with COVID-19

Addressing the Nation, Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi today extended the lockdown till 3rd May, 2020. He said India is fighting Corona in a better way through lockdown and social distancing. During the lockdown period, the spread of virus is controlled as compared to other countries where the affected population is 30 to 40 percent higher. Further, looking at the current scenario of increasing the spread of virus, the Prime Minister said that more restrictions will be implemented during lockdown till 20th April 2020. Thereafter, relaxation could be given considering the situation Area/District wise.

Prime Minister furthermore shared 7 pointers which need to be considered in order to fight the disease:
1.    Take extra care of Elders at Home so that they will be protected from COVID-19
2.    Maintain Social Distancing during lockdown in similar way as being done. Always wear homemade masks to prevent its spread.
3.    Enhance body Immunity through guidelines issued by Ayush Ministry
4.    Download Arogya Setu mobile application to control Corona spread
5.    Help poor and needy at this time. Ensure daily food supply to them so that they can survive during this crucial situation.
6.    Employers should support their employees in best possible ways   
7.    Respect Doctors/Nurses and other staff engaged in fighting Corona Virus.
