Xavier`s Six-a-side Soccer Tournament concludes - St. Kabir and Shishu Niketan bag titles whereas Xavarians remain runner-up in all the three categories.

St. Xavier's SIX-A-Side Soccer tournament for  the boys  concludes at  St. Xavier`s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44C, Chandigarh . 15 schools with around 130 players from Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali took part in this prestigious annual  event.

Results of the matches played on the final day are  given below:

UNDER 12:-

St Kabir 26 beats St. Xavier`s Chandigarh [5-2]

Main Scorer:

St Kabir 26- Asmit 3; Shouryaveer and Divanshu one each

St. Xavier`s Chandigarh - Shresth two

UNDER 14:-

Shishu Niketan 43 beat St. Xavier`s Chandigarh [1-1]  & in TIE BREAKER  [3-2]

Main Scorer:

Shishu Niketan 43: Chirag one

St. Xavier`s Chandigarh : Kushan one

Under 18:-

Shishu Niketan 22 beat St. Xavier`s Chandigarh [3-1]

Main Scorer:

Shishu Niketan 22: Ridham, Rigzin, Shobhit one each.

St. Xavier`s Chandigarh : Gagan preet - one

Dr. Rakesh Malik, Deputy Director Sports, Panjab University was the Chief Guest and P.S.Lamba, Joint Secretary Chandigarh Khokho Association, was the guest of honour. Founder Andrew J Gosian and I William Chairman St. Xavier`s Group of Schools congratulated and gave away the prizes to winners.
