Finals of St. Xavier`s Annual Inter-School Basketball Tournament -2018 were played today at St. Xavier`s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-C , Chandigarh.
Under 12 category
St. Xavier`s Chandigarh beat Saupin's Chandigarh [ 21-4 ]
Winner: Sehajpreet Singh Reen 6, Yayin 5
Looser:Aaron 4
Under 16 category
St. John, Chandigarh beat St. Xavier`s Chandigarh [ 36-28 ]
Winner : Pranav 14; Anhad 11
Looser : Harmannjeet Singh 14
Founder Chairman Andrew J Gosain was the chief guest. He gave away the prizes to the winners. Chairman I William congratulated the players and lauded the contribution of coaches for shaping the talent in budding sport stars.
Earlier a day before, Inter School Basket Ball matches of "St. Xavier`s Basket Ball Trophy- 2018" kick started. Around 20 teams from the school of Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali took part in this mega annual sports event. Results of the matches played on day one are given as below:
